Overview

Poverty is one of the major social problems in Pakistan. A large portion of population is living in villages, slums and streets, and is earning their livelihood below the poverty line. They are underprivileged, leading a life where there is no money, less education, lack of sanitation facilities, food and safe drinking water and no proper houses. Many poor people don’t beg because they feel humiliated. In such conditions, people are deprived of their basic necessities of life. Poverty leads to problems like child labor and crime which are passed on to the next generations.

Prophet Muhammad PBUH said: "Protect yourself from hell-fire even by giving a piece of date as a charity.”(Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

We can make a difference by donating and helping poor and low-income families making their homes safer, healthier and more energy efficient.

Poor Families Support

TARS Foundation provides financial assistance to poor and needy families on a monthly basis, depending on their specific needs. The support may include cash assistance, payment of utility bills, basic household items, or children’s educational expenses. Many families face financial instability for various reasons, and our foundation strives to help those who struggle to meet their daily living costs.

Currently, TARS Foundation is sponsoring several registered families in Peshawar and nearby regions, providing them with a monthly allowance between Rs.10,000 and Rs.20,000, based on family size and needs. This assistance helps them cover essential expenses such as food, clothing, education, and daily living needs.

In addition to the monthly allowance, the foundation also provides Monthly Ration Packages to ensure food security for needy families.

Moreover, TARS Foundation extends its support to non-registered poor families as well, referred to us through authentic and verified sources, ensuring that help reaches those who truly need it.
