Orphans are among the most innocent and vulnerable souls on earth, often suffering deeply due to the absence of proper parental care and support. As one of the most affected segments of society, they deserve abundant compassion and continuous assistance to help restore normalcy and hope in their lives.
Our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “I and the one who looks after an orphan and provides for him will be in Paradise like this,” — Sahih Bukhari
(and he held his index and middle fingers together.)
In our community, many poor widows and orphan families are living below the poverty line. The loss of a parent—sometimes both—not only leaves an emotional void but also deprives these families of their main source of income, making it difficult to meet even their basic daily needs.
Orphan Families Support
TARS Foundation is currently sponsoring over 100 orphan families in Peshawar and surrounding regions, providing them with regular financial assistance to help meet their daily living expenses.
Through this program, each orphan family receives a monthly allowance ranging from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000, depending on the family’s size and specific needs. This support enables them to manage essential expenses such as food, clothing, education, and other household necessities.
In addition to monthly financial aid, TARS Foundation also provides Monthly Ration Packages to these families to ensure they have adequate food supplies at home.
Furthermore, clothes are distributed among these families on various occasions, including Eid, while warm clothing is provided during the winter season to help them stay comfortable and protected.
